Corruption in Kenya, has caused untold suffering to many in many places both in Kenya and outside the country. We have been called all kinds of names by the west but wait a minute, where does all this corruption stem from. The truth is well said by the swahili saying "Za mkuu hakinuki".

Swedish ambassador to Kenya, Bo Goranson, has censured Western countries for not assisting Kenya in its fight against corruption.
Goranson singled out France, which, he said, had embarrassed the Western countries for its failure to co-operate with the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (Kacc) investigators in their bid to uncover the faces behind the Anglo leasing scandal. He said France was under pressure to help Kenya uncover the faces behind the scandal.
"It is very embarrassing to all of us (Western countries). If we have to be credible we have to come with clean linen,’’ Goranson said.
Goranson spoke a day after Kacc told of its frustrations in attempts to interview directors of a French company. Kacc deputy director Ms Fatuma Sichale said investigators had been unable to interview at least 75 witnesses abroad over the multi-billion scandals.
Sichale said commission’s investigators had on two occasions travelled to France to interview directors of Francois Charles Oberthur Fiduciare (FCOF) without any success.
Goransson said the credibility of Western donors in the fight against corruption was at stake and that they had asked France to assist Kenya. He, however, said the French embassy in Kenya had already initiated moves to help Kenya interrogate the directors at the centre of the scandals.
The ambassador said Kenya had not yet approached Sweden for any assistance in fighting graft.
